CR-914 Model Racing

The Knee Deep Model Yacht Club is open to all members of North Cove Yacht Club interested in sailing the CR-914 class radio controlled model sailboats. Races are held one night every week from April to October, with the race night changing each month.

Each race night you hear many yells of “Starboard”, sometimes from both boats on opposite tacks. Many stay for a relaxing bite to eat after the “fierce” competition. Our fearless secretary manages to keep track of who finishes when and awards trophies each month.

The season ends with a December awards dinner. The NCKDMYC always welcomes new members and some skippers have offered to help build boats for any new members that might question their model building skills.
